The Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) uses novel technology platforms for biomarker discovery and the development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies.


It is the fruit of a long-standing partnership of more than 20 years between the LKS Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) and the Institut Pasteur, Paris, two major international leaders combining their expertise to establish this centre of excellence.


C2i aims to establish a novel technology platform for biomarker discovery and development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies. C2i addresses major unmet global and local public health needs with excellent potential for commercial exploitation.


Job Description

Applications are now invited for appointment as Executive Assistant / Senior Executive Assistant (holding the functional title of HR Executive) (Ref.: C2i072), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year contract basis with contract-end gratuity and the company’s contribution to MPF schemes, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.


Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree or above, and at least 3-5 years of solid work experience, preferably in human resources and office administration in the education sector/a research centre.


They should have a good command of English and Chinese; good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); the ability to work independently and under pressure; and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be attentive to details, self-motivated, proactive, able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, and pleasant characters.


The appointee will (a) support human resource functions and general office administration; (b) prepare work visa applications; (c) prepare business correspondences and support report submission (d) liaise with various stakeholders, e.g. research staff, government bodies; and perform other duties as assigned.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
