Celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of Louis Pasteur, C2i and the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole are presenting an Institut Pasteur exhibition at HKUMed with the support of the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau.
Louis Pasteur was an international figure in scientific and medical research and the founder of the Institut Pasteur (Paris) in 1887. He was a precursor of a certain way of conducting research, deeply concerned with its goals, both humanistic and universal, and the need to train and transmit this approach and these values to future generations.
Today, this "Pasteur spirit" still inspires scientists who work in the institute that bears his name, as well as those in the wider Pasteur Network.
From Louis to Pasteur is an exhibition commemorating the bicentenary of Louis Pasteur’s birth, tracing his major scientific works, some significant episodes of his private life and his scientific legacy.
Come and see the exhibition at 21 Sassoon Road, G/F until 25 November 2022!
The exhibition will then tour in several locations in Hong Kong, including Science Park in January 2023.
