Assistant Project Manager (C2i113-P1)

Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Project Manager (Functional Title: Program Manager – Translational Research) in the Research Program 1 of the Centre for Immunology & Infection to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving multi-omics big data analysis, with a focus on immunology, genomics, and translational biomedical research.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in biology, biotechnology, or a related field. Prefer advanced knowledge in biomarkers, immunology, or clinical operations.

• 2-5 years of experience in project management within biotech or pharmaceuticals. Ideal focus on biomarker research, clinical trials, or diagnostics.

• Strong knowledge of biomarker strategies. Includes sample collection, analysis, and data management.

• Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project or Agile. PMP certification preferred for handling timelines, budgets, and resources.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Essential for collaboration with scientists, clinicians, and vendors.

• Technical expertise in bioanalytical methods and data interpretation. Ability to oversee laboratory processes.

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with biomarker scientists and clinical teams. Develop and implement strategies for research projects.

• Oversee biomarker sample analysis. Coordinate shipments, data transfer, and storage per quality standards.

• Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones. Ensure timely delivery and resource efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance to laboratory staff. Ensure proper execution of discovery and validation protocols.

• Serve as liaison with external vendors. Manage contracts, deliverables, and performance for bioanalytical studies.

• Coordinate workflows across teams. Interpret scientific results and support research tools or patent development.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Handle documentation and reporting for trials or discovery.
