Assistant Project Manager (C2i113-P1)
Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Project Manager (Functional Title: Program Manager – Translational Research) in the Research Program 1 of the Centre for Immunology & Infection to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving multi-omics big data analysis, with a focus on immunology, genomics, and translational biomedical research.
Requirements:
Master's degree or above in biology, biotechnology, or a related field. Prefer advanced knowledge in biomarkers, immunology, or clinical operations.
2-5 years of experience in project management within biotech or pharmaceuticals. Ideal focus on biomarker research, clinical trials, or diagnostics.
Strong knowledge of biomarker strategies. Includes sample collection, analysis, and data management.
Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project or Agile. PMP certification preferred for handling timelines, budgets, and resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Essential for collaboration with scientists, clinicians, and vendors.
Technical expertise in bioanalytical methods and data interpretation. Ability to oversee laboratory processes.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with biomarker scientists and clinical teams. Develop and implement strategies for research projects.
Oversee biomarker sample analysis. Coordinate shipments, data transfer, and storage per quality standards.
Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones. Ensure timely delivery and resource efficiency.
Provide technical guidance to laboratory staff. Ensure proper execution of discovery and validation protocols.
Serve as liaison with external vendors. Manage contracts, deliverables, and performance for bioanalytical studies.
Coordinate workflows across teams. Interpret scientific results and support research tools or patent development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Handle documentation and reporting for trials or discovery.
